Orange County based trio ARMORS has been fast approaching the mainstream with a unique blend of soulfully driven vocals layered over dark and melodious instrumentals. The group seamlessly bridges the gap between Alternative and R&B, whilst maintaining all the foundations within the indie band landscape.
While their previous EP Collisions provided the perfect platform to garner fans all over the Country, the band (Vocalist Olen Kittelsen, Guitarist Kody Buxton and Synth/Keys Sam Beresford) is gearing up to enlist a much larger group of listeners into the fold with their next release. Boasting intricate melodies backed by explosive beats and emotionally driven choruses, Genesis stands to draw attention from audiences across many genres.
The song features production and engineering by up and coming LA based Producer Ryan Spraker (Killer Mike, Daye Jack), who was able to capture Kittelsen’s evocative falsettos, bringing a deep connection to the opening of the track and throughout the whole song. “Genesis portrays the loss of a long time significant other, under very surprising circumstances, and the emotional trials of being left with nothing and discovering how truly insignificant you are in the world.” Explains Buxton.
With an array of singles slated for release over the next coming months ARMORS is without a doubt set to become a group you will grow quite familiar with.
