Strategic Marketing / Advertising Manager


The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker who is able to break down complex situations into easy-to-grasp concepts. He/she excels in using their analytical mind to develop insightful stories using metrics and is effective in making data driven business recommendations for their clients. He/she will spearhead paid marketing initiatives for FACTION artists and events, and will be responsible for constructing and adhering to reasonable budgets in an effort to support revenue goals.



·      Attend all campaign kick-off meetings

·      Work with Team to build budgets, campaign objectives, and overall marketing plans

·      Plan, execute, and day-to-day monitoring of digital advertising campaigns

·      Deliver compelling and actionable insights to drive strategic and tactical performance

·      Make suggestions to team on A/B design options for ToneDen and other third-party marketing partners

·      Evaluate look and functionality of landing pages used in campaigns and help install HTML tracking/conversion pixels

·      Enable channel monetization and set up collection services (YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.)

·      Build and manage multiple targeting audiences for all clients on all digital platforms and utilize tailored lists for specified future campaigns

·      Research and identify useful up-and-coming technologies within the digital advertising sphere

·      Identify low performing digital networks and develop optimization strategies for every client

·      Increase exposure of purchase/stream/conversion objectives everywhere applicable (website cards, download links, buy now buttons, etc)

·      Create unique and specialized content with objectives for optimizing and growing specific online networks

·      Be the paid media expert on the team with the goal to educate managers on the necessity of a marketing budget (pay to play) for all campaigns


Required Experience & Skills

·      3-5 years marketing experience, with an emphasis on paid advertising

·      Strong, positive team player with a collaborative work style and leadership experience

·      Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills

·      Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

·      Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely

·      Skilled at creatively visualizing information and data
